Sony sold gazillions if these cameras so get over it. First A7 series were really on the compact size. Egg. Combining a 37MP full-frame sensor, minimalist controls and Lightroom Mobile built in, it's a refreshing – if a bit quirky – take on the smartphone-meets-camera concept. So for the a6700, Sony needs to use the XT-3 sensor, add a front dial, dual UHS-ii, a faster CPU... and call it their new flagship APS-C camera. On other cameras, including Nikon's Z 50 and the X-T3, you'll need to use lenses with built-in stabilization — and many of the best primes don't have that option. Given that, and the lack of manual controls, using the A6600 was frankly a frustrating experience — especially after I had such a good time with the well-designed A7R IV. All these companies keep pumping out MILCs like they were going out of style, and they still haven't figured out how to make the ergos better. On the one hand, its tricked-out autofocus and subject tracking excels, not just for an APS-C mirrorless camera, but even when compared to much pricier full-frame models. If you're looking to spend $1,400, I'd get the X-T3 instead, which is a better all around camera. The Sony A6600 is Sony’s flagship APS-C format mirrorless camera. It isn't only the size. Not to sound cranky, but it's been available for some time now. Don't understand how is it possible to see so many good reviews about a credit card with a lens mount. The Sigma 65mm F2 DG DN is for the photographer who wants a focal length that falls squarely between 50mm and 85mm. That means it still lacks a front shutter/aperture dial and a joystick control for focus. But there's one big reason we wouldn't use it for events, and it's something you just won't find in the spec sheet. IBIS of 6600 is better and it shows in the quality and sharpness of photo and video. Sony's top-end APS-C mirrorless model, the a6600, adds a better battery and in-body stabilization to the mix, but at $1,400, it's priced for serious photographers.
